What we collect
Operator: MOGA STAR network. We collect: account details you give us (name, photo, email or phone number), chat messages, gifts and coin activity, and basic device data. When you take a seat in a live room we use your microphone or camera only while you are on air; private conversations are not recorded.
How we use it
To run your account, rooms, chat, gifts and coin wallet; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to send notifications you allow. Coins are a virtual in-app item used only for gifts and cosmetics. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Device permissions
Microphone: only when you take a seat or go live in a room or studio, to send your voice. Notifications: room invites, messages and gift alerts; you can turn them off anytime. Background audio and Bluetooth: to keep the radio or room playing while the screen is off and through headphones or car audio. Camera: only in video rooms when you turn it on. We never record or store your voice unless a host explicitly records a broadcast, which is announced in the room.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that host and run the platform (hosting, database, live audio/video) and, when you buy through the app, Google Play for payment. We disclose data to authorities only when Egyptian law (Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020) or a court order requires it. Your public name, photo and member ID are visible to other members. Chat and rooms are user content: we have zero tolerance for abuse, harassment or illegal content — report or block any member, and moderators can remove or ban instantly.
Data retention and security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and protected by strict access rules. We keep your account while it is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile, photos, phone number and messages within 30 days; transaction records are kept anonymised as required by law.
Children
MOGA STAR is not directed to children under 13, and games are limited to adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
You can access, correct, download or delete your data at any time, and withdraw consent for notifications. MOGA STAR is for users aged 13 and over; purchases require the legal age or a parent's consent. Data is protected in transit (HTTPS) and access is limited to authorised staff.
Delete your account
You can request deletion inside the app (Settings → Delete account) or from the web page mogastar.com/account-deletion without installing the app.
